Our cakes provide a unique sweet experience. We place special emphasis on regional products, which we obtain from smaller as well as local producers from Basel.

By the way, you can have brunch with us on Sundays: enjoy homemade plaits as well as breads from regional partners. We have yogurt-honey-muesli for all athletes. Eggs, bacon, sausages and antipasti are also available.

Homemade Cakes

A specialty of the house are our homemade cakes. Taste the sweet Linzertorte or the rich chocolate-pear-nut cake. Or maybe the light ricotta cake, the fruity apricot tart or the homemade millefoglie?

Relaxed Sunday Brunch

Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm

Enjoy our homemade plaits and breads from our regional partners. Cheese, meat, fresh yogurt-honey-muesli, fruit salad, eggs, bacon and sausages, homemade antipasti and jams as well as honey from the Basel area.Mineral water and orange juice. Our brunch includes one warm drink per person.

Price for adults CHF 33.- | Price for children (up to 6 years) CHF 6.- and for children (6-12 years) CHF 15.-

or Business Banquet

Start your festive evening with an apero and later enjoy an Indian-Tamil buffet or an Italian buffet. Additionally we can serve you a 3-courses menu. Choose between Indian-Tami, Italian or our seasonal menu. We also welcome you to a cozy Sunday brunch as a privat party. We gladly answer your questions.

The restaurant is open on Mondays and evenings for special occasions.

Take the Ferry across the Rhine

From Kleinbasel you can experience a particularly enjoyable journey with the St. Alban ferry, which lands about 100 m away from us.

Or take tram 1, 2 and 15 to the stop Kunstmuseum or tram 3 to the stop St. Alban Tor. After a short walk through the beautiful neighborhood you are at the restaurant.

The restaurant does not have its own parking. However, you can park along the street on the banks of the Rhine.

The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

A walk in the idyllic St. Alban Tal

The restaurant is located in the beautiful, historical St. Alban Tal which borders on the Rhine. There is plenty to discover. Old half-timbered houses and modern architecture, the medieval city wall, the St. Alban church (the oldest monastery church of Basel) and many small, romantic canals.

Three museums are nearby. The Basler Papiermühle, the Swiss Museum of Paper, Writing and Printing, is right next door, the Museum für Gegenwartskunst (Kunstmuseum Basel) can be reached on foot in two minutes and the Cartoonmuseum in seven minutes.
