Restaurant Café Papiermühle | Culinary delights in the heart of St. Alban-Tal
Enjoy culinary dishes in the heart of Basel. In St. Alban-Tal, we welcome you to embark on a journey through our international cuisine. Our weekly menu offers freshly prepared dishes daily, and our cakes provide a sweet treat for your palate. We place great emphasis on regional products, sourced from small and local producers in the Basel area.
By the way, you can join us for brunch on Sundays: Enjoy homemade braided bread and loaves from regional partners. For all athletes, we offer yogurt with honey and muesli. Eggs, bacon, sausages, and antipasti are also included.
Lunch
Every day we serve two freshly prepared lunch menus - one of which is vegetarian. In addition, Thursday is Indian day. We spoil you with Indian specialties.
Our small but fine wine list offers selected regional and Italian wines as well as Prosecco.

Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Enjoy our homemade braided breads from our regional partners. Cheese, meat, fresh yogurt and honey muesli, fruit salad, eggs, bacon and sausages, homemade antipasti and jams as well as honey from the Basel region, mineral water and orange juice. Our brunch includes one hot drink per person.

Start a delightful evening with an aperitif, followed by an Indian-Tamil buffet or Italian buffet. Alternatively, enjoy a three-course Indian-Tamil, Italian, or seasonal menu served to you. We also warmly welcome you to a cosy Sunday brunch in a private setting. Let us provide you with personalised advice.
For special occasions, the restaurant is also open on Mondays and evenings.
